Michael T. Koltz, MD, FAANS received his MD from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Maryland where he cared for all adult patients with neurosurgical disorders at the University Center, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and VA Baltimore Medical Center. He cared for pediatric patients at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Koltz has completed two fellowships. From 2009-2010, he worked with Professor J. Marc Simard, MD, PhD as the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF) of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Cerebrovascular Section Research Fellow. From 2012-2013, he completed the prestigious Neuroendovascular Surgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr Koltz is board certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
